Womens Only Sessions
We are delighted to announce that from January we will be welcoming all women to our brand-new women’s only Clancy Briggs session!
We've recently added an extra element to our ladies sessions in the form of a monthly Zwift session / social Q&A with Monica, our ladies session lead coach. The idea is we're providing another opportunity for the ladies who attend the weekly sessions to catchup & ask some questions that perhaps they haven't had time to ask at a face to face coaching session.
It's a brilliant addition to the sessions and a real boost to our ladies community!
Where & When?
The sessions will be taking place from the Doncaster Dome, which is where we host a handful of our current sessions. This venue was set up to encourage more people to get on bikes. It is a closed-circuit venue with a clubhouse and facilities all at your disposal, we think it’s the perfect place to become the home of our Women’s only sessions. Starting in January our women’s only sessions will take place every Friday evening 6.30-8pm.
Who are they aimed at?
These sessions aim to encourage anyone who wants learn some new skills to take onto their weekend club run, or if you just want a safe environment to ride your bike we have the perfect place for you!
Our sessions will be mainly focused on skills, building confidence riding in a bunch, meeting new people, and having a good laugh! It’s also the perfect way to improve your fitness. Oh, and did we mention you’ll be accompanied by our female coach Monica Dew!
Monica is a former racing cyclist, having raced professionally for Storey Racing, alongside household names like Sarah Story. More importantly Monica loves cycling, she’s enthusiastic about growing the sport and keen to share her experience with ladies of all abilities. You can read more about Monica here.
You don’t have to have any previous experience, we just want you to bring yourself, a bike, a big ol’ smile and the desire to be the best version of you!
